Meredith’s “Blondie” Cardigan

“The subtle texture on this pattern is so cute! That was my favorite part of knitting because it helped make the rows fly by by. This was a pretty quick and easy knit, and the resulting cardigan is super wearable. Also, every single Poison Grrls pattern I've ever knit fits perfectly, because there are such clear instructions for getting the fit you want! That is surprisingly rare in knitting patterns, which is why I appreciate Amy's designs & patterns so much.

I did end up changing the button band -- it was fine as written, but I just prefer a slightly different style band. But the construction of this cardigan made it easy to modify. I was able to finish it as written, wear it awhile, and then redo the button band easily when I decided to change it up.

I've purchased more patterns than I've knit (lol who hasn't) but I definitely will knit more from Poison Grrls!”
